Name: “Wally” Wallace Rudolph West aka Kid Flash
Canon: Young Justice (which in turn is a derivative of the DC universe)
OU/AU/OC: OU
Canon Point: shortly after the season 1 finale. Way before season 2 even starts.
History: Wiki link Check out the History section from Early Life through January 2011. The rest is beyond his current canon point.
A summary for those unfamiliar with Young Justice:
Wally comes from a city in the United States called Central City. He is an only child and lives with his parents. In his current canon point he’s sixteen years old, a regular teenager at a glance. He lives a double life though as Kid Flash, “sidekick” to The Flash, the superhero with amazing speed that fights crime in Central City.
Wally was not born with super powers. He was however naturally gifted in the sciences. For a long time Wally looked up to The Flash, claiming to be The Flash’s biggest fan. Wally’s aunt, Iris West, eventually married a man named Barry Allen. To Wally’s surprise, he stumbled upon evidence that Barry was The Flash as well as the story behind how he got his powers- a mix of chemicals and lightning. Hoping to gain super speed powers, Wally copied the conditions in which The Flash got his powers. The resulting explosion put Wally in the hospital but after recovering he eventually showed signs of having super speed and he proceeded to bother his uncle Barry to let him be his partner fighting crime.
The Young Justice series starts off several years into Wally’s time as Kid Flash. Eventually Wally becomes a member of a team of younger heroes who are sent by the Justice League on covert missions, usually to collect information and take criminals great and small by surprise. Among the other members of the team are Wally’s best friend Dick Grayson (Robin/Nightwing) and his girlfriend Artemis who he just recently got together with before his canon point in the RP. When he is not on missions with The Team, Wally continues to fight crime in Central City or lives his regular teenage life.
Personality:
At a glance Wally is goofy and a bit of a dork. He has a sense of humor but half the time people laugh around him it’s because he unintentionally does something silly. He is playful and enjoys flirting with the ladies though lately this attention is focused on his girlfriend. Wally likes to think that he’s cool and usually won’t turn down the chance to brag about himself. He usually gives off an aura of confidence but like any other teenager Wally has plenty of insecurities. Insecurities that he prefers not to address.
It’s fair to say that Wally is very expressionistic. From huge grins of happiness to yells of anger or sadness, it’s not hard to tell how he feels. Even when he doesn’t intend to say how he feels, others can read him easily from his reactions.
While he can be incredibly smart and clever, Wally has his less thoughtful moments. He can be impatient and jump into situations without thinking ahead. He is also very headstrong and stubborn. When he doesn’t get his way he ends up complaining or pouting. It is also difficult to convince him to accept things beyond his logic. He has previously announced that he does not believe in magic, only in science, and was too stubborn to admit to the possibility of there being things he could not explain with science even after witnessing magic first hand. Since then Wally’s mind has opened up a bit more but he still clings to his logic like a security blanket when facing things that are out of his control. In the past when accused of being “in denial” of feelings he didn’t want to face, he simply replied, “I’m comfortable with that.” His stubbornness is a force to be reckoned with.
Strengths:
-hand to hand fighting and some acrobatics- this would take a great deal of practice to translate to pony anatomy
-high IQ, very talented and knowledgeable in the sciences, especially physical sciences and probably really good at math as well, also has really great engineering/mechanic skills
-super speed powers
• He can move at super speed and can easily run about the speed of sound. For the RP, he has been slowed down by his unfamiliarity with walking on four legs let alone any flying. With enough practice he may be able to reach higher speeds again.
• extra fast reflexes
• amazing endurance- He’s able to run all over the world usually.
• fast metabolism and fast healing- his body processes chemicals faster than a normal person’s and repair itself faster. A serious wound like a broken bone will still last several weeks though.
• A connection to the Speed Force- all speedsters have some type of connection to the speed force, an energy that relates back to time. Wally has yet to understand or become truly aware of the Speed Force.
Weaknesses:
-can be extremely stubborn
-impatient
-ridiculously fast metabolism –on the flip side of its advantages, having such a fast metabolism means Wally gets hungry constantly. He needs large meals to keep going or he will lose his strength and eventually collapse.
Special Belongings:
-Ring- This ring’s technology was invented by Wally’s uncle Barry (The Flash) to allow easy access to one’s superhero outfit without having to wear it under normal clothes. At a glance the device looks like a regular ring. When activated a secret compartment inside opens up and releases the costume. The special tech makes it possible for the clothes to be shrunken down so they fit inside. Wally has this ring with him in Equestria but it has been pony-fied into a sort of horseshoe under his left foreleg.
Here's an old school illustration of it:

-The Kid Flash costume- Just like The Flash’s costume, the Kid Flash costume is made of special material that can withstand the kinetic energy created by the speedster wearing it without being ripped to shreds. It provides a little armor protection but can still be cut through with a sharp blade and is too flexible to prevent crushing. Thanks to tech introduced by Batman, the costume's color can be changed to a dark stealth mode black or a snow white. This item too has been pony-fied.
Note: Wally enters the rp as his civilian identity. Only time can tell if he will decide to don the costume in Equestria.
-Goggles- A pair of goggles usually accompany the Kid Flash costume but these can be worn separately as well. Like normal goggles they provide eye protection. They also have a special vision mode that when turned on show the viewer heat signatures and light and radiation energy. This makes it so he can see in the dark via infrared or see radiation waves. The goggles also have a magnifying ability.
Pony/Animal Type: pegasus
Cutie Mark: c+ in front of an energy shape and a lightning bold (It looks like a grade which is bound to cause confusion, but in reality it refers to a physics symbol for 'faster than the speed of light'.)

First Person:
[Wally mumbles to himself while looking at the magical scroll with an expression of skepticism.]
Okay… How do you even “turn on” a scroll?
[Realizing the scroll has begun to record his message he grins and attempts to look less displeased but it can still be seen in his eyes.]
Hey my name is Wally West. I’m from Central City in America… If any of you know what America is…?
[His displeasure seeps out into the open again. He gives a sigh.]
Listen. I honestly have no idea how I got here but I really want to get back home. I’ve got other important things to do. You know… Homework and stuff.
[He smiles, amused by how much he wants to return to homework of all things.]
I’ve got a mom and a dad who are going to be worried sick when they realize I’m missing. And friends and family. Oh! And a girlfriend… Who is SO gonna kill me if I don’t show up for our date tomorrow. Aw man!
[The thought pains him, but he continues on.]
There has to be a reason why I was brought here and why I don’t have my normal body. Please, if you know any thing about what happened, even just a little, then tell me!
[His eyes wander downward. His frustration is starting to be replaced by worry.]
West out.
[He stops recording, signs the scroll and sends it out.]
Third Person:
After a long day fighting crime alongside The Flash, Wally had decided to go to bed early that night. He had been in the middle of a pleasant dream, when suddenly he felt his body drop with a thump to the floor. He let out a groan and tried to force his heavy eyes open.
“What time is it?” he murmured, realizing the light was too bright to be nighttime still. Blinking a few times, his eyes finally focused and he found himself looking up at the sky. “Wha?” This definitely wasn’t his bedroom. He tried to lift his head up to look around but froze when something came flying overhead into his view. A horse.
Wally let out something close to a squeak, eyes widened. What the hell was that? A Pegasus was hovering over him, and as if that wasn’t strange enough, it was staring down at him with an expression like he was the strange one. The fact the Pegasus was colored like no horse would naturally be colored didn’t help. Wally bit his lip and very cautiously turned his head to look to his side. There were more of them, all horses, surrounding him, staring with unnaturally human expressions.
Wally looked back up at the sky, swallowing nervously, eyes still wide. “Okay man. It’s okay. This is just some freaky nightmare or something. There’s gotta be an explanation for this. Maybe Dick got Zatanna to help him play a trick on you,” he thought to himself. “Yeah! It’s gotta be just your imagination. It’s not like any of the bad guys have a weird colored horse M.O.”
He closed his eyes again and took a deep breath. If he just stayed still and waited a while longer it would stop right? Right?
